Today, on 16 April 2026, was a day we won’t forget in a hurry. After months of recipes, designs, conversations and late evenings, we officially released WAYA — with a kick-off that was exactly as loud, green and Ecuadorian-energetic as we had imagined.
Morning: the van is full
With a fully loaded van, the wooden WAYA sign and loads of cans, we set off for the event hall. We sorted everything once more, padded the wooden sign, and somehow we even got going on time.
Set-up: from idea to backdrop
Our flower wall — the natural counterpart to our cans, so to speak — was brought to life piece by piece. Around the stand we set up plants, vines and flowers so that guests would feel right in the middle of it rather than just alongside.
And then: cans on ice
What would a kick-off be without the first big sip? The cans landed in the ice bucket, the guests had a taste, faces lit up — and that is exactly why we did all of this.
